The Roy Waterhouse Steeplechasing website will put up one tip, every Saturday during the core period of the jumps season, available at 10/1 or better, that’s worth backing with, well, what the strap above says – so that’s £1 win, or 50p each-way.
The Throwaway Quid for Saturday December 14th:
It’s not certain where the pace will come from in this year’s International Hurdle. Gumball no longer front-runs, and while front-running tactics on Elixir De Nutz worked in novice company, will connections want to do that in this tougher race? One horse who is likely to be ridden up with the pace, and then keep going, is the former Betfair Hurdle-winner Ballyandy, who drops in trip after failing to stay 3m against The Worlds End in the West Yorkshire Hurdle at Wetherby, Whilst respecting the likes of Ch’tibello and Call Me Lord, there must be a chance of Ballyandy making the first three at least, and the 25/1 available this morning is worth taking each way.
