The Roy Waterhouse Steeplechasing website will put up one tip, every Saturday during the core period of the jumps season, available at 10/1 or better, that’s worth backing with, well, what the strap above says – so that’s £1 win, or 50p each-way.
The Throwaway Quid
for Saturday 11th January:
When Hawkes Point won the Classic Chase he was blinkered first time, and the year Milansbar won it he was blinkered after pulling up in the Welsh Grand National. Okay, Captain Chaos has worn the headgear before, but up to now he’s been more consistent with blinkers than without – three wins, two seconds – so hopefully he’ll bounce back from pulling up at Chepstow, and his 14/1-odds are are acceptable.
