The Roy Waterhouse Steeplechasing website will put up one tip, every Saturday during the core period of the jumps season, available at 10/1 or better, that’s worth backing with, well, what the strap above says – so that’s £1 win, or 50p each-way.
The Throwaway Quid-selection
for Saturday January 4th 2020:
Bookies are strangling the prices of recent (as in last Sunday) Doncaster scorer Gunnery and the apparent number one of Colin Tizzard’s pair, Eldorado Allen – in the case of the latter, maybe something to do with Robbie Power riding him – and this has led to the other Tizzard runner, Ainchea, taking a walk in the market, despite Harry Cobden’s mount having better form than Eldorado Allen. Yes, he has a long absence to overcome, but the morning 16/1 is too big – when last seen out he’d have beaten Countister around three lengths in a novice hurdle over this course and distance but for falling at the last, and that one subsequently ran close in a County Hurdle.
